Governmental and NGO operated Public health programmes usually involve field workers who visit door to door in remote places (where basic medical facilities are not available). Apart from taking the basic health data of the people / patients these trained volunteers provide basic medical assistance to them.
Having a CDSS on their Slate with few of common disease prediction algorithms available through Cloud, a field worker can quickly identify disease and suggest for remedial or prescribe further consultation with a Doctor to confirm the disease. This will avoid the delay of medication due to communication and late predictions due to non availability of doctors.
CDSS for different diseases can be trained with the data and diagnosis details available with them; whenever new data available, CDSS can be retrained with new data set.
